Found my HTC Desire stopped showing the weather below the clock widget.
Fix is pretty, simple, the location finding had been switched off somehow (perhaps by accident).
On the home screen, press Menu
Select Settings
Location
Tick "Use Wireless networks - Location determined by Wi-Fi and/or mobile networks"
The "mobile networks" is key, that uses the mobile phone mast to get the approximate location
If using the Google Maps app, will notice the same problem when pressing the "current location" button. The app displays "please enable My Location source in system settings".

I'm always surprised how some basic piece of info like train times manages to be printed out over several sheets of A4 paper.
What I'd like to see is a move towards printing concisely, and relavent info only. Cutting out logo banners, copyright notices and wasted layout space.
Considering a train ticket fits on bank card sized print out, I'm amazed there has been no space/eco rationalisation already.

Why does Apple, a futuristic company still produce all their ipads in Chinese factories ?
Just in Costa Coffee. Saw the till prints German 'B' instead of £ sign.
I've discovered how difficult it is to get a refund for the unused, un-activated copy of Windows7 that came with my new Acer laptop, purchased in the UK.
My solution..? Buy from manufacturers which are happy to sell laptops with Ubuntu GNU+Linux, or simply with no-OS pre-installed ;)
Quite a few online shops:
